Why are there fees added to my ticket purchase?
At Land of Illusion Adventure Park, we aim to be transparent about the fees associated with ticket purchases. These fees help cover various costs involved in maintaining our ticketing system and providing a smooth experience for our guests. Here’s a breakdown:
Processing Fees:
Processing fees cover the operational costs necessary to manage ticket sales efficiently:- Software & Equipment Costs: This includes the annual expenses for our ticketing software, as well as the rental fees for equipment and hardware used to facilitate ticketing.
- Delivery Fees: These cover the software and systems that ensure your tickets are delivered securely to your email inbox after purchase, allowing you quick and easy access.
- Quick Entry Fees: Guests who purchase tickets online are granted access to a dedicated ticket lane to ensure a speedy check-in process, helping you enter the park as seamlessly as possible.
Service Fees:
Service fees are charges applied by third-party systems involved in processing your transaction.- Transaction Fees: Our third-party ticketing platform charges a set fee for each transaction, which is applied at checkout.
- Payment Processing Fees: Credit card companies apply a fee to process payments securely.

Are life jackets provided?
Yes, we provide life jackets to all of our guests free of charge.

I bought a ticket for this date and I couldn’t make it. Can I use it another day?
Monday – Thursday Tickets: Tickets bought online are valid for any Monday – Thursday that Aqua Adventures is open to the general public during the 2024 season.
Friday – Sunday Tickets: Tickets bought online are valid for any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday that Aqua Adventures is open to the general public during the 2024 season.

Do You Serve Alcohol on Sunday?
Due to the laws in the State of Ohio, we are currently unable to sell alcoholic beverages on Sundays.

Are lifejackets required?
Yes, everyone that gets in the water has to wear a lifejacket that fits. There are no exceptions to this rule and even if you are just putting your feet in the water a lifejacket has to be worn. This is for your safety and that is our number one priority. Life jackets are provided to all of our guests.

Can I leave and come back later?
Re-admission is allowed during the day, all guests must see gate attendant before leaving if they wish re-admission during same day.

Are Outside Food & Drinks Allowed?
No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed. Baby formula or medical supplies may be brought in with a cooler (8″x10″ soft-sided cooler). We have water fountains equipped with bottle fillers

How deep is the water?
It ranges from beach shore line to 10 feet. But life jackets must be worn at all times in the water.

Do You Offer Military Discounts?
Yes we do! We are proud supporters of our past and current military. All military tickets must be purchased at the gate and must have proper military ID

Can I bring my own chairs or umbrella?
No outside chairs or umbrellas may be brought into the park. We have thousands of beach loungers waiting for you on over 1000ft of sandy beaches. We also have bamboo themed umbrellas and cabanas available for rent.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
All park attendees must sign a waiver - all patrons 17 and under must have a parent or legal guardian sign their waiver (But does not need to be present if dropping off). Everyone 18 and over must fill out their own waiver.

Do parents who are not participating get in free?
Aqua Adventures has something to do for all ages! All guests must have a ticket to enter the park.

If I purchase tickets today, do I need to use them today?
No. Weekday tickets are good for any weekday, weekend tickets are good for any weekend

How much are lockers?
$10 for the day.

What is your thunderstorm policy?
At the first lightning strike (8-10 miles out) or the rumble of thunder, participants are required to exit the lake. Wibit course will reopen after 30 minutes from the last thunder rumble.

Are there fish in your lake?
Yes. But, we drain the pond out each year and donate the fish to local colleges for relocation homes. So not as bad as say a state park or natural lake. We start refilling the lake in April so by August there may be a small amount of minnows or other small fish.

Is your water filtered or cleaned?
We use all natural algaecides and herbicides to keep the water clean. We have a feeder lake to the main lake that is a natural filtration system and uses all natural algaecides and herbicides to keep the water clean before entering the lake. (No chlorine is used)

Do you sell food and drinks on site?
Yes we do. Our Aqua Lounge is an all American bar and grill serving everything from tropical island alcoholic drinks, to standard Pepsi products. As well as a full kitchen serving options for picky eaters, healthy eaters, allergy friendly eaters, and more!

What are the rates for paddle boarding?
$7/half hour and $10/hr.

Can I use my Season Pass if it’s not paid off?
The Season Passes are available to pay in 3 monthly installments. You cannot use your season pass until it is paid in full.

I bought a Season Pass. Now what?
Once arriving to the park, show proof of purchase to the ticket booth and redeem a season pass badge card w/photo. Make sure to smile!

Can I show the ticket from my phone or does it need to be printed?
Yes, you're able to show your ticket from your phone, as long as we can see the barcode on your e-ticket.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Land of Illusion accepts cash only

Can I bring a camera or GoPro on the inflatables?
No cameras or electronics allowed on the Wibit - we are not responsible for any items that are damaged.

Do I need to know how to swim?
No, but you are required to wear a life vest at all times in the water. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK – attendants are not lifeguards.

Can I wear socks on the inflatables?
Water socks are allowed. Shoes of any kind are not allowed on the inflatables or paddle board.
